FOS MASTIHA AND MEZCAL COCKTAILS
This is where the idea of Ambrosia Group was born. It derives from our strong common passion of fine taste and an eternal love for Greek Cuisine. We are thrilled to offer our flagship brand, FOS. The flavor and aroma of FOS Mastiha are a delight. Our mixologists offer the following suggestions for your pure enjoyment.
MASTIHA TANGERINE
2 oz. FOS Mastiha
1 medium tangerine with peel
1/3 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup
Cut tangerine in middle and muddle 2 halves at the bottom of shaker. Add the rest of ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a twist of tangerine
AMBROSIA FRESH
1 1/3 oz. of FOS Mastiha
2/3 oz. premium gin
1/4 cucumber no skin no seeds
1/3 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup
1 dash angostura bitters
Muddle cucumber in base of shaker. Add rest of ingredients and shake with ice. Strain onto a chilled martini glass and garnish with a thin slice of cucumber
AMBROSIA and LEMONADE
Pour FOS Mastiha in a tall Collins glass full of ice cubes. Top with lemonade and serve 1 3/4 oz. mastiha and lemonade
AMBROSIA TONIC
1 3/4 oz. of FOS Mastiha
Tonic water
Pour FOS Mastiha in a tall Collins glass full of ice cubes. Pour tonic. Stir and serve
THE MED
1 3/4 oz. FOS Mastiha
1 1/4 oz. simple syrup
2 lemon wedges
6 fresh basil leaves
Soda water
Muddle the lemon wedged with basil leaves and simple syrup in a tall Collins glass. Fill with crushed ice, add FOS Mastiha, and stir. Top with soda water, add some more crushed ice and garnish with some more basil leaves.
CRETAN DELIGHT
2 oz. FOS Mastiha
1/2 lemon cut into wedges
Muddle lemon wedges in base of an old fashioned glass (not tall, whiskey glass). Pour FOS Mastiha, add crushed ice, stir, and top with crushed ice
OLD FASHIONED AMBROSIA
2 oz. mastiha
2 dashes angostura bitters
I bar spoon sugar
FOS Mastiha
Muddle angostura bitters, sugar, and a splash of water in base of old fashioned glass. Pour FOS Mastiha, add 2 ice cubes and stir well. Top with ice and garnish with an orange peel.
AMBROSIA SOUR
1 3/4 oz. FOS Mastiha
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup
1 dash angostura bitters
1/2 oz. egg whites optional
Shake very well all ingredients with ice. Strain in to an old fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
SPIKED AMBROSIA
1 oz. FOS Mastiha
1 oz. vodka
1/3 oz. Cointreau
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into an old fashion glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon peel
AMBROSIA COSMO
3/4 oz. FOS Mastiha
1 oz. vodka
3/4 oz. cranberry juice
1/3 oz. fresh limejuice
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a flamed orange peel
AMBROSIA WEDGE
Have a shot of chilled FOS Mastiha. Bite into a wedge of tangerine. Place wedge on top of glass
PEPPY AMBROSIA
1 oz. FOS Mastiha
2/3 oz. vodka
1/3 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup
1 dash Paychaud’s Bitter optional
1 bar spoon pink peppercorn or Chile flakes
Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with flakes of Chile You can also muddle the peppercorns, mix all ingredients, then strain so the drink gets spicy
CORFU SANDS
Muddle 4 to 6 mint leaves and 2 lemon wedges
Add 1.5 oz. of FOS Mastiha
Add 1 oz. of lemonade
Add ice cubes and shake for 15 seconds
Strain contents into a rocks glass Fill with soda Top with a splash of aperol Garnish with mint
MYKONOS MULE
Fill a beer glass with ice
Add 1.5 oz. of FOS Mastiha
Add 1 oz. of dry gin
Add 3/4 oz. fresh limejuice
Fill with ginger beer
Garnish with a sprig of thyme
DELOS DELIGHT
Use a coffee mug or better a teacup
Add 3 oz. of FOS Mastiha
Add 3 oz. do heated apple cider
Add a splash of fresh lemon juice
Garnish with 2 slices of apple and or a cinnamon stick
CHIOS COFFEE
Use a martini glass if served cold
Add 1 oz. mastiha
Add 1 oz. vanilla vodka
Add 1 oz. citrus vodka
Add 1 oz. espresso coffee cold
FOS Mastiha
Garnish with 3 coffee beans
SANTORINI DREAM
Muddle 1 orange wedge and 4 to 5 raspberries
Add 1 oz. FOS Mastiha
Add 1 oz. vodka
Add 0.5 oz. of triple sec
Add a splash of fresh limejuice
Add ice cubes and shake for 15 seconds
Add 1 oz. of prosecco
Strain into a chilled martini glass
Garnish with a lime twist
ATHENS KISS
FOS Mastiha 2 oz.
Honey – thyme syrup 1oz
Lemon juice 1oz
Basil foam
Serve in martini glass

MYKONOS QUEEN
1 oz FOS Mastiha
1/2 oz Chambord Liqueur
1/4 oz fresh lime juice
5 fresh raspberries muddled
Shake all ingredients together and strain into a champagne glass.
Top up with champagne,
garnish with 2 fresh raspberries.

Build in a tall red wine / sangria glass

ODYSSEY
1 oz Stoli Elit
1 oz FOS Mastiha
1 oz Prosseco
Splash club soda
Splash lemon juice
Muddle 5 slices of Cucumber, 4 mint leaves, splash of lemon juice, and FOS. Add Stoli Elit and shake. Double strain into a wine glass filled with fresh ice. Add Prosseco and club soda. Garnish with a thin slice of cucumber

SUMMER ECSTASY
Fresh watermelon chunks (about 800 g)
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 or 2 teaspoons of honey
a few ice cubes
2 or 3 fresh mint leaves chopped
FOS Greek Mastiha
Blend all ingredients in a blender
taste it, add honey if not sweet enough
Add 3 to 5 oz of FOS Greek Mastiha (make it as strong or light as you want)
Alternatively you can prepare the cocktail in a shaker by muddling the chunks of watermelon

2 oz 100% blue agave blanco
